Like many people, I ran track in high school played hockey every week year round, once biked to a small town that was over an hours drive away for fun. That was over a hundred pounds ago.

Now I fear physical activity because I know I can't do it. I have a friend who is training to one day have a amateur boxing match under his belt...I would love to be his opponent even if it means getting the snot beaten out of me. Not because I want to fight my friend but because he owes me five bucks... no wait because he was a lazy bum like me and he has over come many obstacles to get back on track and now it's my turn.

Hey Christian, I just got your message. Haven't been on this site for uhhh, almost a whole season! Anyhow looks like you're doing quite well. This holiday season I bought myself a pedometer and it's actually helping me keep active. Anyhow I know the Christmas season is tough but then again, no one's gonna award your a prize if you finish all your plate. Anyhow, I hope I'm not on your reject list :( All the best.

I'm starting to get back on track now. It has been very hard since Mike got hurt...Mike's my workout buddy for those how don't know...Anyways the goal is to lose another 20 lbs by the end of the year that will bring me down to around 270...I don't really care about te time line as long as I am close...This is not about time this is about getting healthier. This putts me at around 2.5 pounds a week around a pound a week more than I have been doing. I have only had two really bad weeks since I have started this change and those two week acounted for six weeks of work...This is why if I can gt down to 270 by Christmas/New Years...then I know I can do the rest...as this will be the hardest part/test of my journey.

Lately I've been doing the Yo-Yo thing and staying around the same weight. I've entered the biggest loser contest on this web site and in the first half of the contest only lost 3 pounds and that was due to one week of glutton where I put on 5 friggin pounds. If I didn't do that I would have been in the top three for weight loss.

Well that is now going to change as most close to me know I have started taking some classes that are really kicking my ass and will hopefully help with the weight loss...now I just have to get back to eating right. At least I still weigh less than I started this whole thing. My current goal is to lose another 20 lbs by Christmas. That would put my at around 30 lbs total and around 10% of me gone. Just think 10% less of me that means I'll also be 10% less annoying.

Cheers
Chris
P.S. For those checking up on me THANKS and I promise I will start leaving more updates for you.

"Besides the fat guy is always supposed to be the comic relief...and I'm not that funny."

Well, that made me snicker, Christian! ; )

I wish you focus and fortitude on your road back to sveltesville, sir.
